Wendy Andrews Obituary

Wendy Joyce Andrews February 1, 1957 - February 9, 2025 Wendy Joyce (Beebe) Andrews, 68, of Loma, CO passed peacefully at home, cared for by her family and Hope West Hospice Home Care.

A family celebration of Wendy's life will be held at a later date.

Wendy was born in Redding, California on February 1st, 1957 to Jack and Marjorie Beebe. She met her husband Ken Andrews in Redding in 1975, when her mother Marjorie introduced them. They were married on February 14th, 1976.

Wendy and Ken were blessed with four children: Amy (Theron) Andersen of Fonda, IA, David (Susun) Andrews of Fruita, CO, Alisa (Craig) Unfred of Grand Junction, CO and John (Lora) Andrews of Loma, CO. They were also blessed with twelve grandchildren: Christian and Sofia Valenzuela and Wyatt Andersen of Fonda, IA, Carter, Drew and Paige Unfred of Grand Junction, CO, Paisley and Jolene Andrews of Loma, CO and Elias, Ellianna, Abigail and Zion Andrews of Fruita, CO.

She is survived by her siblings Jack, Gary, Molly and Suzie, as well as husband Ken, her children and grandchildren.

Wendy was a dedicated wife and mother who received Jesus Christ as Savior at the age of five years, and lived her life to serve, honor and glorify Him. She exemplified the Biblical "Proverbs 31" Woman. Wendy was especially gifted at teaching God's truths to children, and led many children to a saving knowledge of Christ, including her own. Wendy was truly loved by scores of people. She also enjoyed volunteering at Monument View Bible Church Food Bank in Fruita.

In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Wendy's life can be made to Christian Radio KJOL and Mesa County Jail Ministry.

How saddened we were to learn of Wendy's passing, but absolutely certain she is in the arms of Jesus. Serving The Lord with all she was, Wendy loved Him more than life itself. She once told me that she and Ken's dream was to be missionaries to Alaska. All who had the joy of knowing her were very blessed. May The Lord be close with comfort and peace, Ken and family.
