Brian Hobart

Amherst, MA - READFIELD, ME-Brian F. Hobart, passed away peacefully at home Friday, February 2, 2024 with his wife Sue by his side.

Brian was born on May 20, 1953 in Northampton, MA the son of Alan E. and Eleanor Hobart.

He grew up Amherst, MA and after graduating from Amherst Regional High School 1971, he attended Springfield Technical Community College where he received an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering and he also received a degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

Brian married Sue LeBrun April 13, 1989.

Brian retired as Vice-President of the Winthrop Division of HP Cummings Construction Firm where he worked his entire career.

He was an avid snowmobiler, hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed many sports.

Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Brian will be deeply missed by his wife Sue of Readfield; sons Jason (and Candice) Wheeler of Mt. Vernon and Andrew (and Caitlin) Wheeler of Livermore; brother Alan James "Jim" Hobart of Newport, VT and his family; grandchildren Steven, Hunter, Caleb, Parker and Lydia; extended family and many friends.

There will be no services at this time.
