Karen was such a sweet, kind and funny person. I remember so many fun times working with her at Farm Credit and the humor she brought to every conversation. She will be greatly missed. Wishing peace and comfort to Mark and family

Karen and Mark made such a great team. Great people deserve each other. I feel fortunate to have gotten to know Karen, however briefly. She left our planet way too soon. She will be missed.

Karen was kind and loving and one of the most positive people I have ever know. A true friend who always checked in on others to see how things were going. She will truly be missed.

Karen will be missed by so many. She was so good to me and my dogs in our therapy work at the cancer institute. Our friendship started there and continued. Such a kind caring, loving, person.

Karen has been my best friend since I was 16 years old. She was my sister - not by birth, but by heart. So many years of living life side by side, always there for each other through marriages, births, losses...Not many people get to experience a friendship such as ours, and of such long duration. I am forever blessed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Karen worked with me at the California Cancer Center and Institute. She was such a great lady.
