Philip E. Brazelton Jr., 32, of Arlington died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.
Philip was born Oct. 22, 1980, in Omaha to Philip and Barbara (Leapley) Brazelton Sr. He was a 1999 graduate of Arlington High School. He lived in Omaha, Fort Calhoun, Arlington, Prague and Winslow. He drove truck for Seldon Trucking Company in Shelby. Philip married Jennifer Hagerbaumer on Aug. 5, 2005, in Washington County in Nebraska. They later divorced.
He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hooper. He was a former member of the Arlington, Winslow and Prague Volunteer Fire Departments. He also was a member of the Four Wheel Club and loved bow hunting, deer hunting and fishing.
He is survived by daughters, Jocelyn Rae Brazelton and Ellyn Lorraine Brazelton, both of Uehling; parents, Philip and Barbara Brazelton of Arlington; brothers, Benjamin (and wife, Amanda) Brazelton of Omaha and Mitchell (and wife, Alicia) Brazelton of Arlington; best friend, Jennifer Hagerbaumer of Uehling; and nieces, Carisa Kay Brazelton and Peyton Denelle Brazelton.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cliff and Ann Brazelton and Roy and Pearl Leapley; cousin, Misty Bronson; and friend, John Sobotka.
The memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Mike Eckley officiating. A book signing will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in Telbasta Cemetery at Telbasta.
