We were just talking about Anthony! It's still hard to believe that he is gone. He was always a good time, he would debate anything! We were actually talking about a tomato sandwich that he wanted...Haahahha - He was so technical on how much salt/pepper he wanted on it. When we laugh about this, it is always about food indecision. That's when Anthony visits and we know he is around (ALL THE TIME)..... I would never tell Anthony to make it yourself ! Nope, I'd let him go on and on.

We will miss him in every family gathering, he will be missed by his countless friends, he will be missed by those many store clerks and cashiers who served him and enjoyed his banter, he will be missed by his neighbors and many people we don´t even know about. It was the web of these relationships he created around him that was his true safety net of independence.
In the hope of Resurrection, we know that he is in a place where he is free from pain and stands tall and walks on his own. May all the angels escort him into paradise.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We are missing our neighbor. Please come back and say hi to us. We had the priviledge of 18 years being his neighbor. Starry always would wait for Anthony to tell her to come to him and he would pet her. He was such a great man. We will miss him so much.

Dear Anthony,
You were always one solid friend throughout the years.
When we got together to catch up or say Merry Christmas
with drinks, you were happy to be there.
One time we were down in OC and we were making tomato
sandwiches...(this is typical Anthony) you couldn't decide if
you wanted pepper or no pepper. Longest decision in history; but
you finally went with pepper. That tried our patience; wish we
could wait for yet another life changing decision, just one more
time.
Anthony would debate anything, that's what we will miss.
Most of the time he would be the devil's advocate even if he
genuinely was on your side from the beginning.
One time, we turned the tables on you and loaded you on
our boat and you spent the afternoon fishing out on the water.
Nobody could remove your smile that day. Unsteady in the
morning and a pirate by sundown.
Thanks for being there Anthony when I needed to get to
Dulles to fly out for work. You were the best taxi service I could get
for door to door service. And thanks for bringing Brad to see me in
Baltimore when I had my stroke. These venues would have made it
hard for us to travel but you sliced through like butter, to get us places
out of our realm. That was Anthony's Answer. We will never forget.
But in the end, you managed to surprise us once again.
Don't worry Anthony, we will haunt you with our prayers - forever.
With Love Always,
Brad & Debbie Baer

This is so sad. I am so sorry for your and your family´s great loss, Jeremiah. You may remember me, as I delivered his mail for many years, 1983-1998. I just saw Anthony a few weeks ago, driving, and as always tooted my horn and waved. He always waved back. And not so long ago I had the pleasure of talking with him at some length, outside in front of G.E. He was such a great guy and a very proud dad, I know he will be missed by all, myself included. I am crying.... My sympathy, love, and prayers goes out for your entire family.

Paula and Family: Truly thoughts and prayers. Anthony was a part of my professional life as a nurse! I will always remember Paula´s phone call to me on my last day as a full time clinical nurse at Trauma. I cared for Anthony that evening/morning. He really made the best of his challenges. God Bless! Thinking of you and your family at this very sad time. I too will miss seeing his van outside the grocery store, and then see him in the store and chat a bit. We do have our memories.
