Jack was a classmate of my sister. Maydra Standley. He was always happy to see old friends and never was too busy for a little conversation. He was a nice guy. My condolences to Judy and their family. God Bless.

Remember him well. Jack and Judy would visit my parents and make pizza. Gave me a big break when I was a single mom and dug trench for gas line. Never forgot his generosity.

Henry remembers Jack first from school and the FFA. I remember the Fick´s from being together at Leisure Lake. We all were in the same tractor clubs, parades, and many tractor activities. Henry had just talked to Jack a couple days before they left Florida for Michigan. They were making breakfast plans. We both were so saddened to learn of Jack´s passing. When we were remembering Jack both of us talked about how kind he was. We are sending our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Fick family.

I´ve known Jack since I was 16 years old. The first time I met him was when I was invited on a spring break trip with the Ficks. That poor man had to deal with 4 hormonal teenage girls in a 5th wheel for days. I don´t know how he managed it. But I left there happy in my heart that I was welcomed so warmly and essentially adopted into their family from that day forward. I was blessed enough to be able to spend time with Jack and Judy just days before his passing. He was his same kind and generous self, offering help if I ever needed it. He even shared some memories of why and how he decided to go into business for himself. I know how lucky I am to have known him and I will never forget him.
