Kenneth "Kenny" Charles Roscoe, 70, of Elkhart, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, May 27, 2022, at his home.
Kenny was born on Dec. 3, 1951, to the late K.C. and Adah (Erwin) Roscoe in Elkhart, Indiana. He married the love of his life, Judy K. (Demler) Roscoe, on Nov. 19, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 13 years, Judy K. Roscoe; his children, Haley Roscoe and Cody Roscoe; grandson, Isaiah Roscoe of Elkhart; sister, Gloria J. Thornton of Naples, Florida; mother-in-law, Carol Demler; and brothers-in-law, Rick Rider, Charles Demler and William (Sheri) Demler; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, K.C. and Adah, and sister, Jeri Reed Rider.
Kenny honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Patrick Industries as a salesman for the industrial sales group where he worked for over 30 years. Kenny very much enjoyed his career with Patrick. He was a resident of Simonton Lake for over 40 years and that was one of his best treasures. Kenny enjoyed boating, fishing and playing cards with family, neighbors and friends. He enjoyed being outside, working in his yard and gardening. One of Kenny's favorite pastimes was visiting craft breweries with his friends. Kenny was a hard worker yet a laid-back guy always looking for good times.
The family would like to thank Home Instead and Grace Hospice for their loving care during a difficult time.
A celebration of life for Kenny will be held at a later date.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, June 10, at 1 p.m. in Rice Cemetery, 400 James St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, Indiana, is assisting the family.
