Rich and I will remember Bob as a man with true love and commitment to his wife and family, adoration of his pet dogs, a curious adventuresome traveler and teacher. Rich and I treasure times spent with Bob and Nessa at their home in Walnut Creek and with our Aunt Ruth and Uncle Sol Filler, cousins Deb and Esther, and my parents, Inge and David Asher. He was a raconteur with an easy-going manner and delighted in living his life fully as possible. It was an honor to know him!
