Mick, Douglas D.

age 77 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Doug was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 20, 1948 to Martin and Audrey Mick. On June 29, 1968, he married the love of his life, Patricia Lehmkuhl. Together, they lovingly raised their daughter, Jennifer. He enjoyed owning and showing Saint Bernards, attending classic car shows and NHRA events. Later in life, Doug pursued photography and became an avid bike rider. Doug's greatest joy was being Papa to his three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. Doug was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3986 and the Moose Lodge #36. Doug is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat Mick; his daughter, Jennifer (the late Clarke) Ommert; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Jade), Matthew (Cheyenne) and Christine; his great-grandchildren, Emily and Carter; his siblings, Sandra (the late Kenneth) Smith, Gregory Mick and Martin "Skip" (Carol) Mick; and many nieces and nephews. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Audrey Mick; his wife's parents, Louis and Evelyn Lehmkuhl; his sister, Ann DeLong; and his son-in-law, Clarke Ommert. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM with celebrant Fr. Rick Walling officiating. Burial will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at browndawsonflick.com.
