Randall Brown Obituary

Randall Ellis Brown, age 78 of Collierville, Tennessee was called home to his Heavenly Father on June 29,2022.

Randy was born on September 19,1943 to the late Carl Brown and Ailiene Hill Liles in New Orleans, LA. He had one sister, the late Carlene Brown McDaniel.

Randy married Donna Wiggins Brown on May 20, 1972, and she survives him along with one daughter, Heather Brown Powers (Mike) and two grandchildren Holly and Caleb.

Randy reported for the military service on March 25, 1966. A US Army Vietnam Veteran Specialist E4. He received an honorable discharge on March 24, 1969. He received the National Defense Service Medal, 2 O/S Bars, Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Sharp Shooter Badge Rifle M-14.

Randy attended Harding College, Crowley's Ridge College and Memphis State. He was the co-owner of Retail Merchants Inventory Service of Memphis along with the late Jimmy Whitley.

Randy loved his Lord and savior Jesus Christ and attended Bellevue Baptist Church.

Randy enjoyed all kinds of music. He and his accordion band won first place in the Mid-South Talent Show in the early 1960's. He enjoyed going to concerts over the years. He loved going to all of his daughter's sporting events and cheerleading competitions. He loved his grandchildren dearly and was involved in their lives as much as his health would allow. He loved his TIGERS and went to many football and basketball games until his health declined.

A celebration of life will be held July 5th, 2022, at Bellevue Baptist Church, 2000 Appling Road, Cordova, TN, with visitation at 11:00 and service at noon.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a tribute donation to Alzheimer's and Dementia Services of Memphis (Dorothy's Place) or Baptist Reynolds Hospice House, where Randy was given wonderful help and excellent care.
