Michael Bennett Obituary

Michael Stuart Bennett, 43, passed away suddenly at his home in Southaven, MS on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was born and raised in West Memphis, AR. He had a way with people and made an impression on anyone who met him.

Because Michael had a passion for antique cars and trucks and car racing, he naturally found a career as an auto technician. An avid football fan, he could usually be found on Saturdays cheering for his Arkansas Razorbacks and Ole Miss Rebels. He also enjoyed spending his free time fishing. He relished life and had many interests and passions, but he loved and treasured his family most of all. Michael will never be forgotten but forever remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aylwin Byron Bennett. He is survived by his parents, Karen Kay Dollar Lowery and Charles "Chuck" Curtis Lowery of Southaven; one sister, Amy Rae Stafford of Hernando; one brother, Marcus Lowery of Texas; two Nieces, Macie Lauren Ray and Alexa Rae Carroll; four nephews, Tanner Keaton Carroll, Zachery Ryan Carroll, Charles Gavin Lowery and Matthew Braden Stafford.

A celebration of his life will be Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Compel Church, 820 Church Rd. East, Southaven, MS 38671. Visitation will start at 10:00 A.M. followed by the service beginning at 11:00 A.M.
