I worked for and with Troy from 1999-2005. I adored him. He truly was a damn fine human.

Troy was an inspiration both as a person and fellow coach for all the time I coached against his teams. I feel blessed that I had the chance to know him and always considered him a friend as well as a adversary in our arena of college baseball. He will be missed and my prayers go out to Dawn, Nicholas and Madison. I am glad that I had the chance to visit with Troy recently and he was a real joy to be around.
