Anita Rainville Obituary

Anita M. Rainville

Pembroke, NH - Mrs. Anita M. (Brasley) Rainville, 91, of Pembroke, passed away suddenly at home on February 7, 2024.

Born in Pembroke, Anita was the daughter of the late Arthur and Annette (Boisvert) Brasley. She would remain in Pembroke for her entire life.

In early years, Anita was employed at BB Shoes and the local mills for a time. She later worked for Chemfab for over 25 years before retiring.

Anita was a faithful communicant of St. John the Baptist Parish and always ended her day by praying the Rosary. She kept active with her daily walks around her neighborhood and shopping excursions. She enjoyed puzzles, her toy poodles and was a devoted viewer of General Hospital for 40 years. Above all else, she enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She possessed a quiet demeanor and enjoyed the simple pleasures life offered her.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest "Joe" Rainville; her stepson, Raymond Rainville as well as her siblings: Lorraine Cotting and Robert, Armand and Raymond Brasley.

Anita is survived by her son: Robert Rainville and his wife Robin of Pembroke; her sister, Claire Brasley of Pembroke; her two grandchildren, Kendra Thibeault and her husband Aaron and Kyle Rainville and his wife Jean; her great granddaughter, Addison Mae Rainville; and her stepsons, Eugene Rainville of NC and Richard Rainville of FL.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12th from 9 to 10:30 A.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
