Sorry for your loss.
I think maybe I was in 5th grade when I started getting haircuts from Mr. Stricker. Taking the school bus to the corner of 78th street and old highway 99 - walking (ahead of Teresa - can't talk to "girls") to his shop. He was a good man, glad to have met him, may he rest in peace.

I met Bill and his son Michael through my in laws who were parishioners with Bill and Nancy at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Bill and Mike, (before his career change) became my barbers. I always enjoyed my time around Bill. And Mike and his wife Luanne are friends of our family to this day. Bill was the best definition of gentleman, a polite, courteous, gracious man with a sense of honor. One of his legacy's is his son Michael and the wonderful family man he has become. Bill was a life well lived with all the truly important things in it shared with others.

I´m saddened to hear the news of his passing. I am a grade school classmate of his son Mike at Our Lady of Lourdes. I have fond memories of him at his Barber shop and with Mike on scouting events.

My sons got their hair cut at Pacific Barber shop by his son Michael. His dad, Bill was always welcoming and kind. So sorry to read of his passing. I told my sons (Carl, Justin, Derek) so they can send kind thoughts to this dear family.
Much love,
Emmi McLarty
