Our deepest sympathy to Jeanne and family in their loss of Mike. Although he is now in a better place, his loved ones and friends will miss him greatly. We pray your sorrow will be replaced by many fond memories of life with Mike.
Mike always had a quiet way and friendly smile when they were at the beach. When Kevin & I were trying to figure out how to put pavers or something under the outdoor faucet the condo had added. It was a big step down from the walkway and was in sand & grass... a mess. In his usual manner he politely asked what we were doing, and we explained our dilemma. Mike suggested, "Why don't you just put in a concrete pad?" "Ha, we laughed, that is way beyond our capabilities". So, Mike stepped down, sized up the area and offered to donate the labor & materials (of course in real construction lingo). He recruited his grandchildren to dig up and haul sand to the area, to bring it up to the walkway & make it ADA accessible, then his son to help with framing and concrete work. A job well done and greatly appreciated as seen in the 3 pics.
So, for many reasons you will be missed by many people, Rest in Peace Mike.

Our deepest sympathies to you, Jeanne and the family. We know he will be greatly missed.
We remember his quiet and friendly manner. One weekend at the beach condo he walked by as Kevin & I were trying to figure out 'some kind of floor' to put where the Board had placed an outside faucet to 'rinse off'. Well, it was a huge step down and a sandy/grassy mess. He stopped and politely asked what we were doing & we explained our dilemma. He said, "why don't you just put in a concrete pad?" Ha, we said, that is way beyond our capabilities. So, he stepped down, sized up the situation and volunteered to put in the concrete pad. He recruited his grandchildren to dig up sand and bring it in to raise the area to make it ADA accessible, then his son to help with the concrete work. A job well done as seen in the photos.
May more fond memories help Jeanne and family to replace the sorrow they feel now and move on as Mike would want them to do. Rest in Peace Mike
