Mrs. Enns taught my most valuable lessons in high school back in 1989. It seemed silly at the time to talk about mental health, self esteem, and healthy boundaries, but those lessons resonated with me in the years to come.
I have very fond memories of jump roping and especially square dancing in her PE class.
I wish I could thank her now, which is why I was looking her up.

This is what I learned from Joyce; No one is perfect. Everyone has something they need to work on, but to give into fear is not an option.
"Don't be afraid!"
Thank you Joyce for being so brave! I will always cherish the time we shared together.

Our family had the unique and treasured experience of having joyce live with us in our home after the death of her husband. She taught at the school i worked at and so we became close. She needed a change of housing and I needed a new and wiser friend. We became traveling buddies, confidantes and she and her cat, became a very intragal part of our family! The memories we have of her as a beloved teacher, friend and sports enthusiast will be near and dear to our hearts always!!! She will be dearly missed by each of us!

Sincer condolences to all the family. Mrs Enns was my favorite teacher . I so happy to have some conversations with her during her later teaching and after her retirement. She definitely had great positive influence on the students she taught.
