Arnold Kniess Obituary

The angels rejoiced on May 29, 2022, when Arnold Lee Kniess, age 71, arrived home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His unwavering faith was the foundation upon which he built his life and blessed the lives of so many others. Arnold was born on December 10, 1950, in Butler, PA to parents Mabel Lewis and Vincent Randolph. He was one of seven siblings, Ed, Tom, Bob, Dave, Joyce, and Danny. Arnold had a life of accomplishments and excelled at everything he did. His greatest devotion was to his cherished wife, Doris Kniess, and the beautiful life they created during their 53 years of marriage. Together, they have three daughters, Carol Kniess, Christina Kniess, and Julie Walsh. His seven grandchildren, Maya, Aiden, Jack, Kate, Lucy, Max, and Sylvie loved their Pop dearly. Arnold's legacy of love, faith, kindness, generosity, and strength will live on in the hearts and minds of anyone who knew him. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4: 7-8. Mr. Kniess' family will celebrate his life privately. Online condolences may be made at www.kirkleyruddickfuneralhome.com

Doris, Carie, Christina & Julie....
I just found out about Arnold's passing last night... I am so very sorry to hear this news... His brother Ed was my uncle (what a fun guy) and since working with Arnold for 10 years at Butler Aviation, we in the maintenance shop jokingly referred to him as Randy's "Uncle Arnold"
I attribute a part of where I am today in my career to Arnold's friendship and leadership during the time in my life he was part of.... He was a great mentor and he taught me what I wanted to be as a leader and a person. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I hope that you all will accept my most heartfelt condolences on your loss.... Arnold will surely be missed....

I just found out that Arnold passed away on 29 May 2022. I used to work with him at BWI with Signature Flight Support. He was a wonderful supervisor and leader. I have lived in Texas for almost 7 years and truly was shocked when I found this out. I am praying for him, his wife, his daughters, and his grandchildren!!!!!

Julie I am terribly sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you, your mom, sisters, and the rest of the family. I never met your father but if you are a reflection of him he was an amazing man. God bless you all during this hard time.

Loved the time we went to the Hard Yacht after an art show I believe . It could have been just a gathering. My condolences to the whole family. What a gem of a person he was. Reading this obit give me peace. He knew his creator and now is in paradise. That's what the word says. Its a promise of God. Yes are hearts are torn apart but we have the peace of knowing that he is in the promised land now. He now lives in paradise and how we should be joyful if you know the lord. you will see him again if you believe. I know this is hard but God has a plan and a purpose for all. This is prob not relevant but when my partner passed i questioned why? Went thru some dark times almost self destruction. because of my grief but then after time grace arose. May the grace of God be with you all knowing that Gods peace will prevail.. Its a promise of God and if he did it for me he will do it for you.
