Suzanne Roberts-Lombardo Obituary

Roberts-Lombardo, Suzanne Carol

July 15, 1946 - February 21, 2025

Of Cheektowaga completed her Earthly life cycle on February 21, 2025, after a brief illness. Sue was born in 1946 at the very start of the post-war baby boom. She attended Bishop Neumann High School and upon graduating in 1964 went on to Bryant & Stratton Business School. As a talented and detail-oriented woman she made her mark at multiple businesses as an executive secretary and retired in 2021 from the Erie County Dept. of Social Services. Sue enjoyed the music of her youth, and going out dancing. She was also a devoted fan of the 'soaps,' General Hospital being her favorite. She was an avid animal advocate and volunteered for many years as a foster provider for The Buffalo Animal Shelter and other local animal organizations. Suzanne is survived by her sons Andrew & Nicolas, brother Richard, sisters Terry, Kathy, Debbie, Michele, and Janice as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donations in Suzanne's memory may be made to www.friendsofcbas.org and or www.hospicebuffalo.com. A Celebration of Life is planned for the Spring of 2025.

I have known Sue most of my life. She was my confirmation sponsor back in 1963. I grew up down the street and thought Sue was my cousin in my early years as her mother Mary was my Mom's best friend and I called her Aunt Mary and therefore Sue must have been my cousin. Rest in peace Sue.

Accept our sincere condolences.
My husband Robert Konowalski was in the same class at Bishop Neumann. Suzanne was always friendly and kind to me as an outsider of Bishop Neumann.
She will be missed.
