Gene was a devoted family man. He enjoyed hunting for many years, as well as attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events. He also loved to travel with his wife prior to her passing. Earlier today

My sincere condolences to the Cummiskey family although I haven't seen Gene in decades; I was his mailman for at least 10 years and then moved away. I also worked with Gene at the "box plant" for a year or so before I went with postal service. Prayers for this family and their loss.

Yesterday

Gene started school with me at St. BERNARDS GRADE SCHOOL IN 1944. When he entered the USMC I entered the USAF. We shared many memories over the years with mutual friends i.e. Tom Mathews, Butch Matto, Hugh Ferro and many more. We candied together at Pennhills club and set pins at Recreation Bowling Lanes on East Main St. A great friend. My wife Donna and he attended Bradford Jr. and Senior HS together. May he rest in Peace. Semper Fi, my Brother. (Gus and Donna Gocella)
