Parrish, Florida - Joseph Ronald Poirier Jr. of Parrish, Florida passed away on Monday, February 12th at Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Joseph was born September 2, 1936, in Brockton, Massachusetts. He was one of 13 children of the late Joseph and Doris Poirier.

Joseph proudly served his country for 20 years in the US Air Force. He retired as a Master Sergeant, then moved on to work for the US Post Office and retired after 20 years. Recently if you wanted to locate Joseph, you could find him at any local Bingo Halls.

He was Married to the late Dixie Brooks for over 50 years, together they had 2 children his Daughter the late Donna Poirier and his Son Christoper Poirier and his wife Kelly of Eliot, Maine, 3 Grandchildren Christopher Jr, Sean, and Veronique.

Joseph loved playing Bingo and Felt he won the Jackpot when he met Sandy at Bingo. Nine years ago he started a new Chapter in his life and Married his Bingo Partner Sandra Vettraino, and gained 2 stepchildren Son Jude Vettraino of Spring Hill, Florida and a Daughter Danielle Haimalas and her Husband Fotis of Bellingham, Washington, 3 Grandchildren, Elise, Daniel and Fotini and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Jason, Silas and Callum.
