I am so sorry for the loss of Marie, I met Marie and her family when she moved to the Week´s House apartment building in Newton years ago. She was always smiling and back then in the 90´s we had a tenant association and we did holiday parties where she would come with her family. Rest in peace. Fly among the angels with your dad.

To my dear sweet friend, Marie. You inspired me to always look beyond adversities and look for the best in everything. You were a shining light in this world and now the light has gone dim. I shall never forget you and I am certain that you are up there with all the angels as now you are an angel that we can all look up to. Will miss you forever, Marie.

Marie your gone but not forgotten. I met you 28 years ago and I became your PCA but through it all you always had a smile on your face and a glow that lights up a room. Rest in eternal Peace beautiful soul

Marie and Susan and I went through middle school and High school together. Marie was forever the optimistic one in our group and even came up with the motto for our high school; "We Mounties Stride with Pride!" She was a wonderful friend, teammate in sports and was always the one to suggest the right things to do in any situation. She lived out the motto she created

My wife, Ivannia knew Marie long before I married her. Marie was a person who was not just a torch in the darkness, but a blazing bonfire who radiated heat and light on all around her.
She never allowed her disability to get in the way of life, and it was up to the rest of us to try and catch up. When my wife suffered from her own health issues and became discouraged, Marie would inspire her with determination, and confidence giving her the strength to carry on.
In this way, my family was carried by Marie - she was at our wedding, at our baby showers, held our children and even attended my daughter's dance recital. She was a tsunami, sweeping away doubt, trepidation and fear and leaving in their wake faith, confidence and love.
To be in her presence was to know the light touch of the Lord, and the joy he brings to us all. She will be with us always, whenever we are down. I know that my family was hardly alone in the joy of knowing Marie, and we will do our best to carry forward the example she taught.
