Todd Morin Obituary

Todd Richard Morin, 52, of Lenox MA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and under the care of hospice on Monday, December 13, 2021, after a long battle with colon cancer.

Born in Pittsfield MA on September 29, 1969, he was the son of the late Richard "Dick" Morin and Nancy Fishe Morin. Todd was raised in Lee and Hancock MA. He graduated from New Lebanon High School in 1987. He attended Berkshire Community College and North Adams State College graduating in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He was a business manager at Jiminy Peak Ski Resort in Hancock, MA, an Account Manager at the investment firm Southfield Corporation in Southfield, MA, the Accounting Manager at Austen Riggs Medical Center in Stockbridge, MA, and most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer of the Brattleboro Retreat in Brattleboro, VT.

Todd served as a youth baseball coach, Town of Lee Finance Committee Member and Member of the Lee Sportsman Club.

Most of all Todd enjoyed spending time with his two sons and partner Laura. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast his passions included, white-water kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, traveling, and riding his motorcycles. Todd's other passions included reading, playing chess and woodworking.

Todd is survived by his two sons, Alexander Morin and Grant Morin of Lanesborough, MA, his mother Nancy Morin of Hancock, MA, his partner Laura Collins of Lenox, MA, his former wife Melissa Morin of Lanesborough, MA, his sister Melissa Crane and husband Jesse Crane of Stephentown, NY, his brother Peter Morin and wife Rachaele Morin of Hancock, MA, his sister Jan Lillie and husband Eric Lillie of Hancock, MA, his nieces and nephews and many friends.

A private Christian service for Todd will be held Sunday morning at Kelly Funeral Home in Lee, MA. A public celebration of life will also be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 2pm at Bloom Meadows in Hancock, MA.
