Judith Lampiasi Obituary

Mrs. Judith "Judy" Lampiasi, formerly of Cheshire, was called back to Heaven on March 30, 2026, just months before celebrating her 68th birthday. Born in Pittsfield, MA on May 6, 1958, Judy was the daughter of the late James and Patricia Langlois Driscoll, and graduated from Taconic High School with the class of 1976.

Shortly after high school, Judy married her husband, Shawn, and they moved to Patterson, New Jersey, where he pursued a baking career and Judy worked at Jack Lelan teaching aerobic classes. There, they had their first two sons, Thomas and Shawn. At Judy's request, to be closer to family, they returned to the Berkshires, and bought and operated their family business, Lampiasi's Bakery, for over 30 years. For the majority of her career, Judy was blessed to worked alongside her best friend and husband, employed as the bookkeeper for the family's business.

Judy went on to work at Canyon Ranch and later Cranwell Resort. She loved meeting and interacting with guests who would come from all of the world. Judy always greeted everyone with her contagious smile and cheerful voice.

Judy's favorite things were being with family, listening to music (especially Neil Diamond and Old Time Rock & Roll), and was famous for her dancing. Judy was fancy and loved to travel, packing several suitcases for all her clothes, jewelry and shoes.

Judy's biggest sense and pride came from being a mother to her 4 children and "Nina" to her 8 grandchildren. Judy fought until the end and wanted one last week with her family and friends where she could listen to the stories, memories and love that everyone had for her.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Shawn Lampiasi, with whom this March 10th, celebrated her 48th wedding anniversary. She leaves behind her children, Thomas Lampiasi, Shawn Lampiasi, (Caitlyn), Ashley Lampiasi and Christopher Lampiasi, as well as her eight grandchildren, Dylan, Chloe, Judah, Ayda, Audrianna, Madelyn, Lorelei and Everett, all of whom she adored. Judy is also survived by her siblings, Jeannie Poplaski, (the late Edward), Joan Penna, (John), Janice Carnute, (the late Russell), James Driscoll, (Sue) and John, "Jack" Driscoll, (Debra); as well as Kacie Armstrong.

The family would like to thank Kimball Farms Nursing Home for their compassion and care over the past year.

Judy was a pretty face and a beautiful soul. She was truly a warrior with a determined spirit and fought to enjoy every last minute she had.

Forever would never be enough time with her, and although her time on earth was cut short, we will keep her memory alive in the stories shared, the way she treated others, and the smile she greeted all people with.

Until we meet again, we will forever share stories of Judy and will never forget how she has touched the life of every person that she met. We will look for signs and are certain the stars will align.

Yesterday

Chris, and the entire Lampiasi family, I am so sorry about Judy's passing. She was much too young. I'll never forget the many hours we spent at various hockey rinks and beyond in our childhood. You are all in my thoughts.
