Patricia "Trish" Deets

December 28, 1942 - January 7, 2025

Okarche, Oklahoma - Patricia grew up in Okarche, Oklahoma and was raised with her brother Larry Leon. She graduated from Okarche High School and went on to attend the University of Oklahoma where she earned a degree in Education. She served her country as a military wife and her students as a caring teacher.

Patricia was dedicated math teacher at O'Fallon Township High School for 22 years and was deeply committed to her students' success and well-being. Her passion for education and genuine care for her students left a lasting impact on the community.

Patricia's greatest joy in life was her beloved grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them and her eyes would light up with pride and love whenever she spoke of them. Patricia's boundless affection and unwavering support created cherished memories that her grandchildren will hold dear forever.

Patricia was a woman of great warmth, kindness, and generosity. She dedicated her life to her family and community. Her kind spirit and loving nature touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Leon Dow, and her brother Larry.

She is survived by her son: Doug McClure, grandkids: Will, Emma, Madison, Bella, and Josh, her daughter: Stacie McClure, grandkids: Colin, Aidan, as well as extended family and dear friends.

Memorial Service 10 a.m. February 1, 2025 at Huber-Benson Funeral Home in El Reno, Oklahoma followed by interment at the El Reno Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Patricia's name to the American Cancer Society.
