Charles Beckman Obituary

Charles Bernard Beckman, known as Bernie, passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 67. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles H. and Margaret M. Beckman nee Farren. Bernie is survived by his sister, Sharon Baker, his brother, Christopher Beckman, nephews, Matthew and Aaron Baker and niece, Beth Baker. He is a graduate of St. Antony of Padua, Archbishop Curley High School, Commercial Electronics Institute, Data Terminal Systems, Baltimore Community College (AA in Business Admin.), University of Baltimore (BS in Accounting: Summa Cum Laude), Johns Hopkins University (Masters in Business Admin. Finance and Investments). He passed the CPA exam in 1995 and a member of AICPA, MACPA, MSA, Alphi Chi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, and Phi Theta Kappa.

Bernie's first career was in technology working at Cash Register Sales and Service, then as a Broadcast engineer at WBFF FOX 45 and test engineer at AAI. Bernie then started on his next career as a CPA/Financial Analyst at Donohue & Assoc., Wolpoff & Co., Black & Decker, McCormick & Co., Clifton Gunderson LLP. before starting his own business, C. Bernie Beckman CPA, so he could be his mother's full time caregiver.

Internment for Bernie's ashes will be held at The Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 4430 Belair RD, Baltimore, Md on December 19, 2023 at 11am.
