Darin McKinley Obituary

Darin was a friend of mine. He was such a smart, caring, loving, and funny person. I just recently heard the news and wish I could have been there to help the family. Thank you to Darin's parents for raising him to be the friend he was. I am so sorry for your loss.

Suzie, I am so sorry for the loss of Darrin. I remember him coming into The Plains Library with you for all those years. This is just unbelievably sad and I'm sure you are devastated. I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

I am grateful that I got to experience Darin’s kindhearted spirit this past year in my math class. He was always there to help others. My heart breaks for anyone who was fortunate enough to know Darin. I hope for moments of peace and comfort in remembering him.

Darin’s creativity and outgoing personality will always be remembered. He was a kind person and I consider myself very fortunate for having Darin as a wonderful member of my 7th grade science class. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My son is a Middle Schooler at Athens. He’s in 7th grade and did not know Darin personally. However, our family sends the biggest of hugs and our sincerest condolences.

I remember Darin as an inquisitive student with a big smile. Every time he saw me in the hallway this year, he smiled, greeted me, and asked if I remembered him. I always said yes and that I could never forget him. ❤

When we grieve, Angels are always near us to whisper that our loved ones are safely in the arms of God. You have may sincerest sympathy.

I am so very sorry to hear of Darin's passing.

I was a special education teacher at TPES when Darin was a student there. He was always so kind to the students in my class. He would occasionally walk with them from their homeroom back to my classroom. He would also stop by occasionally to visit and play with our class Guinea pig, Gus.
