Raymond Pohl Obituary
Raymond A. Pohl, age 49 passed away on December 1, 2023. He graduated from West Mesa High School. Throughout his life, he had many animals and treated each one like a valuable family member.
He is survived by his Mother Shirley Pohl, Sister Desiree Woods and Husband Ben, Nephews: Isaac Woods, Anthony Pohl and Wife Ester, Neice: Jordyn Woods and Great Niece Elila; also many uncles, aunts, cousins & friends. He was proceeded in death by his Father Ray Pohl, Grandparents: Donald and Joann Vigil, Miguel and Vivian Pohl, Joe Tapia, Nino Marvin Pohl, Uncles: Larry and George Tapia, Donald and Felix Vigil, Cousins: Antonio and Lawrence Tapia, Jose Vigil and Veronica Pohl. Ray always greeted you with a smile and hug to remember. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will take place on Dec. 20, 2023, at 8:00 AM, Rosary at 8:30 AM to be recited by Tony Maldonado, a mass to follow at 9:00 AM, all to be held at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, Alb. NM, 87105. Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetary.

It´s been many years. I met Ray while attending West Mesa High. He possessed the natural ability to positively brighten someone´s day. His smile alone could brighten an entire room. He introduced me to his love for the Lowriding culture and always keeping your car super clean.
I remember hanging out at the house and Mr. Pohl Snr periodically checking on us to make sure we were having a good time.
My condolences to the entire Pohl family. May his memory be eternal.
