My heart is broken for Kelly, Tony, Joey, and Nick! I first met Dan and Kelly in my office as they interrogated me (lol) on what kind of education the boys were going to get at our school. BTW I never had anyone do that before or after them but that is how much they cared about their boys. I ended up really enjoying Dan as he always had a smile and could talk some good smack when we played basketball at Kidder School. I am so sorry and the world lost a bright smile with his passing. Prayers to Kelly and the boys and just maybe the Timberwolves can win an NBA Championship this season. R.I.P. Dan

I knew Dan for a couple years back in college, roomed with him for a year after meeting him at St Agnus high school through a mutual friend. In those days he always had a smile and shared that with everyone. Great guy and sorry for your loss.

The Ernster's are devastated to hear about your loss. Words cannot express the grief we share with the Gormley family. Dan will forever be remembered by us as a bright star who spread hope and joy wherever he traveled. May God Bless Dan and the Gormley's abundantly.

We are so sorry and shocked to hear of this news. Praying for comfort for you all during this time. We lost touch over the last few years but had so many good times while supporting our boys running and swimming.

I'm a friend from St. Paul. Went to school and played baseball with Dan at St. Agnes.
I'll always remember Dan's big smile and big laugh. He was focused on his endeavors, but never too much to not find humor in his surroundings.
He was a great man from a great family.
