Death Notice

Kelvin Louis (Pudney):
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kelvin, who died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 6, 2021, aged 75 years. A much loved husband of Helen for 55 years, a precious father of Donna, Karen, Bridget, and Justin. A top father-in-law and friend of Tony, Roger, Paul, and Nada. Adored grandad of Nik, Jacinta, Ben, Tom, and Sam, and great-grandad of wee Bella. He was also a much loved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Kelvin was well known for his lightning quick wit and humour, and his lifelong love of speedway, which he lived and breathed with a passion. He enjoyed his birds and tropical fish over many years, he was a gentle, loving, fair man and a great listener, who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. His departure is going to leave a massive void in all of our lives. He was a very easy man to love and will be extremely missed. Wherever he has gone, they are so lucky to have him. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Kelvin Heaney, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Kelvin's life at the Mt Pleasant Community Centre, 3 McCormacks Bay Road, on Monday, June 14 at 11.00am.
