Dear Heather, Eloise and John’s family
I was deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing and was deeply moved today by the funeral service which I watched on line. I have fond memories of John greeting me at St Augustines with such a warm smile and a quiet chat. He was so caring of everyone and I recall his dilemma making the decision of moving back down south to buy a house and then telling me that he had made a commitment to staying because of his new found relationship with you Heather and how his face shone as he totally believed that God had brought you both together! I recall his face showing pure joy on your wedding day and how much he adored his girls. You were truly blessed to have him in your lives !
I can’t imagine what you are going through with this huge gap in your world however his love, guidance and fortitude will always be with you and know he is in Gods arms watching over you all
Blessings prayers comfort and Aroha to you
Hugs Rowena

Well I am sure John has gone to a better place. I remember a visit to our farm when John was an infant. He had tomato sauce on weetabix, without milk, for breakfast. He was also fond of cookies I believe.

McCALL, John Alan:
To the most loving brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. As the ocean has no end, so does our love for you. Our hearts ache as you will be dearly missed. We give thanks to God for all the years we had with you, and the joy you were in our family. There is comfort in knowing you are now at peace in the company of our Lord Jesus.
Love you now and forever
