Deeply saddened by the passing of the best doctor our family has ever had the privilege of knowing. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you did for our family and thank you for all that you did for my dear grandmother when she was in New Zealand. I remember bringing my now 12 year old son to you as a baby, you were just the loveliest person and truly cared about your patients young and old. We are forever grateful and hope you rest in everlasting peace. You touched the lives of so many and our deepest sympathy is with your loved ones.

Catherine was also our Doctor for many years. I was very sad to read of her passing. You knew she cared and she always gave you confidence and reassurance about any health issue. She was kind intelligent and had a wide ranging mind. A wonderful human being who will be missed by many. Go well into the light Catherine.

So very sad to hear Catherine has left us. She was a lovely woman - kind, calm and adored by her caring friends. I am so grateful that she was supported and loved by so many and especially her very special close friends who would have offered and shared such happiness especially in the circumstances of a special holiday which will hopefully allow smiles of happy memories to ease the sadness and loss. RIP darling Catherine. Liz xx

Overseas ourselves when learning of Catherine's sudden death, it is hard to feel this is real. She was our practice partner for many years and always reliable. She was loved by her patients and is a big loss to our community. She only ceased practice for health reasons but this did allow her to enjoy a few years of special time with friends and family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of many.

So very sorry to hear of Catherine's passing. She was our family doctor for many years and especially kind and helpful to me with my ongoing illness. There were many nights that Catherine came to our home to see me and she never left until she knew that I was settled. She would then talk to Rich about what else could be done and it was Catherine that tirelessly advocated for me to get into the pain clinic which was a great step forward to being able to live with my illness and gave our whole family a better life.
We will always be grateful for everything the kindness, the patience, and never ending love that was Catherine!
To her family please take comfort from the people that have written about Catherine in the knowledge that she was an angel on this earth and now is one in heaven.

Am so incredibly sad to hear of Catherine's passing, one of my favourite doctors who always made time to put patients at ease. I will always remember her passion for holidays and shopping and the recommendations she gave me in these areas, as well as the excellent patient care she provided. RIP Catherine - taken too young.

We are very sad to hear of Catherine's passing. Catherine was our doctor, and a very good one, who had the gift of making everyone feel special. I loved the way you would sit down and she would swing her chair round to face you and lean forward, giving you her full attention. Always kind and with a good sense of humour too.

Catherine was our family doctor for over 20 years. I will never forget her kindness including an evening house call to my late dad when he came to live with me in Waltham after the quakes. Her support will never be forgotten.

Dr Catherine Helen:
On September 21, 2019, whilst on holiday in Canberra with her "Stitch" friends. A wonderful week visiting tulip gardens, art galleries, a little shopping, beauty treatments and celebrating your birthday, are now precious memories. We will very much miss your quiet nature, quick wit, your generosity, the wonderful platters when you host Stitch, and coffee and a scone on a Saturday morning.
