Russell was a very good friend to my parents, Brian and Dorothy Lill. They were all very involved with the Hearing society in Ashburton. When the Ashburton Trust Event Centre was built Russell and Brian spent a lot of time with the people setting up the hearing loop circuit for those with hearing aids to allow a good working system. My sympathy to all Russell's family. Treasure your memories.Regards Susan Lill

Sadly Ashburton has lost a true Ashburtonian. Much love to Olive and family members. I will miss our wonderful chats and reminiscing on times past Russell. You have earned your rest now and I thank you for your selfless service over many many years to this community.
