It was 1988 when I first met Geoff working for TVNZ on a cricket outside broadcast. I thought what a genuine bloke. He enriched so many people's lives. Many a witty comment was said and laughter had over the odd liddy. Whilst he will be missed terribly he will forever in our hearts and minds. From my family to Geoffrey's, sending much aroha to you all.

Dear Vanessa, Charlotte, Trish and family. It is with sadness that I heard about Geoff's passing from dad this morning. I have a fond memory of him getting Vanessa and I onto the Son of a Gunn Show when he was cameraman for the show. I hope in this hard time you can find solace in happy memories of Geoff.
