A real gentleman and a good mate socially and on the golf course. Gone to join the golf gods maybe?? Will be missed by all. My sympathy and prayers to Shirley, Barry and families.

Deepest sympathy to Shirley and family on John's sad passing. I have great memories of my best friend, especially during our school days - ten years of playing sport together, mainly cricket and rugby. Will miss our phone calls.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Ward. Mr Ward was such a great neighbour when we were growing up in Puriri Street many years ago. We lived two doors away. Such a caring man. My condolences go out to Mrs Ward, Barry and Jenny and their families at this sad time. From Colleen Day(Fahey)
