Dear Judith,
We are very sad about the passing of Russell, such a wonderful person, full of good stories, caring, and loving. Our daughter Paula arrived in Christchurch a week ago and we wanted her to visit both of you. We told her all the memories of your studies and his passion for books. Our email is: [email protected]. Hi Raed and Paula,
SO sorry to hear of your loss. Russell sounds like a very special man. I have appreciated hearing stories about him from Raed over recent months, including his cheeky personality, strong faith and voluntary work with his church. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family, and I am sorry I can't make the funeral on Wednesday.
God Bless.

Mischievous grandad! Love that! So true! Kind, thoughful and caring. As well as much fun and always ready for a giggle or to cause one for others. Someone I have known my entire life, and although distance became a thing, whenever I needed a quiet ear or just a wee support Mr T was there for me as an adult, as well as the child that needed taken home late one night after having a bad dream.
Your sparkle will be missed by us left behind.
