The carefree days of our childhood friends are never forgotten
Marutuna Terence Francis Wereta. My sincere condolences to his Whanau on his passing. I can imagine him as being a great Dad and friend.
With fondness I remember Terry as a class mate through the years at Ohau School. In the last photo taken in Standard 6 before we went off to Horowhenua College, there he is in the back row standing head and shoulders above every one. Terry had such a cheeky sense of humour and a chuckle to go with it especially when he teased the girls! Our days at primary school were the best, full of fond memories to treasure. okioki i te rangimarie, Terry. Mona Catley

Caryll, Nardine, Nerissa, Kirby, Karen, Briget and Kirsten, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your father. On a recent visit back to Christchurch I went to Burnham and drove past your house and said to my friend, that is where the Weretas lived - fond fond memories of our days in the housing area, school and holidays. My thoughts are with you all at this time.
Warm regards

Farewell Terry, we served together at Waiouru back in the late 1950s. Stern disciplinarian but normally fair with it. We had our moments. Rest in peace and no more "picadillies" on parade any more.
Condolences to all the whanau.
