Lou (Barton) May called me this evening with news of Billy's passing. Oh, how fast life goes past. So sorry to hear that he has gone on. Billy is 10 years older than me. Billy gave me my first piece of jewelry, a cameo ring that he either bought at the general store or got in a package of crackerjacks; it was beautiful. I was about 2 years, and he was about 12. I still remember that ring. He used to give me stacks of his comic books when we visited with Aunt Susie and Uncle James. Ghost Rider, Plastic Man, and Superman. He was a very sweet and wonderful cousin. That photo was taken in 1994, the last time I was able to visit in Camden. He was so proud of that truck. I'm not sure whether it was Roger's or Tommy's. I notice the obit has Uncle James' name as Rufus. That was Grandpa's name. I pray that GOD will put his arms around all of you who are suddenly dealing with a big aching hole where a wonderful guy used to be. I know you are missing him terribly and hurting. Another sweet leaf fallen from the family tree. God give you peace and comfort.
