Robert Lamarre, 71, of Brownington, VT passed away on March 7, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 4, 1950 in Newport, VT to the late Alfred and Evette (Paquette) Lamarre.
Robert was a second-generation sawmill owner. The sawmill was his whole life. He also enjoyed wood working, watching westerns and playing cribbage.
He is survived by his children Amanda Woolridge and her husband Myron of Methuen, MA, Andy Lamarre of Orleans, VT, Joshua Miesner of Oregon, grandchildren Jaden Woolridge, Zoe Woolridge, and Tyler Lamarre. He is also survived by his sisters Gertrude Cerutti of West Charleston, VT and Rita Amidon of Fort Wayne, IN, former spouse Annette Lamarre (Dagesse), and numerous family and friends.
Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Saturday March 19, 2022 at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home, 4670 Darling Hill Road, Derby. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday May 7, 2022 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Orleans with Father Curtis Miller officiating. Sorry to hear of Robert's passing. I recall his wonderful drive to learn when he joined the gymnastics team while I was teaching at Lake Region. It was such a pleasure to work with a young man with such energy and talent.

What do you say about Robert. I haven't seen him in years since I used to sell logs to his Dad. However, I remember Robert as a very friendly young man what I most admired was his work ethic. Hard, fast and pleasant.
