James Anderson Obituary

James W. Anderson was born October 3, 1948, to the late Abe and Minnie G. Anderson.  Reared by William and Mattie B. Scott. James was married to the late Lillie Mae Norton.  To this union 4 children was born, James Jr., Samara, Randy, Jennifer, and the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren. At an early age he joined Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, Brundidge, Alabama.  Jesus whispered his name and his number to come home, and He accepted the call with pride and dignity on February 19, 2022 at the age of 73. He leaves to cherish his memories his sister’s Annie Luster, Faira, Abbel, Bernadette, Annie Ree, his brother’s Melvin, Henry Lee & Otis and two great and trusted friends, Janie Atchley & Mrs. Slaughter. The visitation will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR with the funeral immediately following at 10:00 A.M., Pastor Jay Slaughter will be officiating. The burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Blytheville, AR. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville, AR.
