Evelyn Serrano Obituary

Evelyn Serrano, 89 of Redlands, CA. passed away at home on September 12, 2019 among family.

Evelyn was born on June 23rd, 1930 in Rialto, CA. to Everardo Serrano and Concepcion Lopez. She is survived by her siblings Socorro Rodriguez, Ralph Serrano, Victoria Chavez, Petra Ramos, Rudy Serrano, all of Redlands, and David Serrano of Moreno Valley. Evelyn is preceded in death by her brother Edward Serrano. She has a host nieces and nephews to the fifth generation.  She attended grammar school, Jr. high, and graduated from Redlands High School in 1943.

After working 15 years, Evelyn retired from San Bernardino County Hospital as a radiology technician. She watched over many of the nieces and nephews throughout the years, and so affectionately remembered for her care and patience. Her faith as a Catholic was important to Evelyn. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church (now Holy Name of Jesus) and contributed faithfully to building funds and other financial needs.

Evelyn will be greatly missed. Our hearts are heavy, yet we know she is with Our Lord Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
