Ruby Runion Obituary

Ruby Bridges Runion, 74, of Campobello, SC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Prisma Health Greer Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, George Runion of the Home; a son, Tony Bridges (Amanda); three daughters; a sister; a brother; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Runion was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; a special sister, Trudy; and a son, Dewayne Bridges.

The family would like to give a very special Thank You to the staff, nurses and doctors at Prisma Health Greer Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care they provided to Mrs. Runion for the 20 days she was in their care. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Spring Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redeemed Baptist Church, 1000 S. Blackstock Rd., Landrum, SC 29356.
