Beverly was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church, Manawa, where she sang in the choir and took part in different Bible study groups. Her other interests included picking wildflowers, going fishing, watching the birds, listening to 50’s and 60’s music, and painting with acrylics. She mostly painted beautiful landscapes and other nature scenes. She also liked hunting for special antiques at flea markets.

Beverly loved spending time with her grandkids, whether they were going fishing, to the county fair, or to a local thresheree. She will be remembered most as a caring individual and an unselfish mother and grandmother. She always held dear to her heart the friendships she acquired with the Zion church ladies and also the love of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

There are 9 grandchildren: Jessica (Dave) Gardner, Heather (Michael) Broton, Krystal (Andrew) Walsh, Jacob Young, Justin (significant other Morgan) Young, Nichole (significant other Ian) Bricko, David (Ashley) Kalbus, Andrew (significant other Ashley) Popke, and Lisa (Craig) Driebel. There are 11 great grandchildren: Seth Driebel, Aiden Gardner, Nickolas Broton, Emmalyn Broton, Hadley Walsh, Hannah Walsh, Hunter Ortner, Avaeda Bauer, Bryton Young, Zenoviarah “ZZ” Young, and Hudson Young. She is further survived by one brother, Randy Tomas; a special niece, Teresa (Mike) Stemler; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

My sincere sympathy to Beverly's family and friends. I was the choir director at Zion Lutheran in Manawa and remember how much Beverly loved to come to choir on Monday nights. She was such a caring and loving person. Carol from Zion Lutheran Church in Manawa.

Sincerest sympathy as you mourn the passing of your mom. Beverly was remembered as such a kind and caring person by many at Zion. May God grant you HIS peace and love in the days ahead; and may HIS words comfort you.....John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life."
