Beverly Ann Hughes Wolford, age 82, of Louisville, formerly of Burnside, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the Presbyterian Westminster Home, in Louisville.
Beverly was born on January 11, 1937, in Waukegan, Illinois, daughter of the late Joseph Stanislaus Hughes and Mary Grace Abell Hughes Mattingly. She married Joseph C. Wolford, her “Jody”, on January 26, 1955. There were six daughters born to their union. Beverly was a member of St. Mildred’s Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie McCallister (and Mark), of Louisville, Kathi Crawford (and Steve), of Louisville, Teresa Osborn (and Greg), of Prospect, Tracie Wright (and Will), of Jericho, Vermont, and Stacie Bolen (and Clyde), of Somerset; her son-in-law, Mark Warren, of Omaha, Nebraska; her brother, Joe Hughes, of Port Orange, Florida; her sister, Nancy Sheiner, of Arvada, Colorado; her grandchildren, Patrick, Layne, Courtney, Jordan, Adam, Ana, Gretchen, Joanna, Nicole and Natalie; and her great-grandson, Lucas Patrick.
Preceding Beverly in death are her parents; her husband, Jody; and their daughter, Madonna Wolford Warren.
A Celebration of the Life of Beverly Ann Hughes Wolford and of her Reunion with her beloved Jody will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019, in the Somerset Undertaking Company chapel at 12:00 noon. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, in the funeral home chapel. In the spirit of Celebration and following Beverly's own wishes, brightly colored clothing is requested.

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Wolford while growing up with her daughter, Debbie. She has blessed me in more ways than I could ever say. I hope knowing she wanted to be with her Jody, will bring some comfort to her wonderful family. God Bless and keep you all.
