Alvin "Al" Hall Obituary

Alvin Hall, 92, of Camden Wyoming, Delaware, passed away on June 5th, 2022. Alvin was born on June 26th, 1929 to Edward and Nellie Hall in Newark, New Jersey.

Alvin went to high school in Newark’s public school district and graduated in 1947. He enlisted in the United States Armed Forces from May 16, 1951, to January 23, 1957, then he was honorably discharged. Alvin entered the workforce, where he landed his first job for Walter Kidde as a machinist. After working for Walter Kidde, he started his career as a Breeze Eastern machinist in Union, New Jersey.

Eventually, Alvin met Carole, his beloved wife. They went on to wed on December 25, 1960, and remained married for 53 years until her passing in 2013. Alvin and Carole share four children. Their children were Trent, Tonya, Sheldon, and Darice. After retiring in 1991, Alvin spent his time enjoying retirement with his family after a long but fulfilling career. You could always find Alvin on his computer watching movies and playing various computer games like spades, blackjack, and solitaire. He also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles.

Alvin is predeceased by his loving wife, Carole. Alvin is survived by his five loving children: Alvin Bias (Margo), Trent Hall (Lisa), Tonya Chapmann, Sheldon Hall (Darlene),  & Darice Hall; His Grandchildren: Alexis, Shaon, John, Darshel, Terrance, Matthew, Chaunte, Kolby, Evan, Kristian, Kai. Along with a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, friends, and family who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12 Noon at the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 West Milton Avenue, Rahway, NJ  07065.  Funeral Service will also take place at 12 noon on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the funeral home.   Interment Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ
