McHARDY, Willis Francis:
On February 3, 2016, suddenly in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband of Joyce, and the late Honey. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Gloria and Ian Hurst, and Lynn and Digger McCulloch. Loved grandfather of Ben and Jade, Sarah and Luke and Kate, Hamish and Kayla, Georgie, Jane,Victoria and his 5 great-grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Godfrey and Margaret McHardy (Timaru). Loved and respected stepdad and stepdad-in-law of Elaine and Gary Gauld (Australia), Kay and Denis (dec) Moody, Gary (dec) and Shirley Ritchie (Australia). Loved step-grandad of Michael, Karen, Neil, Megan, Kelly-Jo, Shannon, Jamie (dec) and Israel, and his 11 great-grandchildren. At Willis's request a private cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
