William WALSH Obituary

(Formerly of Leeds, UK) On Sunday, November 30, 2025, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Catherine, dearly loved and cherished Dad and father-in-law of Maria, and Sarah, and Richard. Beloved brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. Sincere thanks to the amazing staff at Lady Wigram. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson's New Zealand would be appreciated and may be made online at parkinsons.org.nz. A celebration of John's life will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Monday, December 8, at 2.30pm.

John was an active friendly member of the Spreydon Indoor Bowls Club until a few years ago.
Despite being afflicted with Parkinsons he was still a very good bowler.
On behalf of the SIBC we extend our sincere condolences to the family of John.
