William SAMUELS Obituary

SAMUELS, William John (Bill) Reg.19598, Sgt. 37th Battalion. NZ Army, Pacific, WW2 - On November 24, 2013, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Molly. Loved father and father-in-law of Anthony, Bill and Tracy, Jo and Phil Maxwell, and the late Pauline de Boer. A much loved grandad of Jason, Tania, Ashley, Kylah, and Trelise; Ewen, Andrew, and Kirstie. A loved great-grandad of his thirteen great-grand-children. Special thanks to the Doctors in E.D. and the staff of AMAU and Ward 27 Christchurch Hospital. Messages to the Samuels Family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. The Funeral Mass for Bill will be celebrated at the Parish Church of St Francis of Assisi, 380 Innes Road , Mairehau, on Friday, November 29, at 10.30 a.m., followed by burial at the Avonhead Park Cemetery, Hawthornden Road.
