Thank you for allowing us to share Tosh. I will always be so grateful for the work Tosh did with troubled kids in the 1990's in ChCh/Otautahi. Tosh rebuilt children's trust and natural joy as well as deepening their understanding of Te Ao Maori and Te Reo Maori. I owe so much to Tosh and to his family who shared him with us.

"Kua hinga te Totara i te wao nui a Tane"
We send our heartfelt sympathy and love to the Ruwhiu whanau. Tosh meant the world to so many of us. The leadership, awhi and aroha that he shared so abundantly with so many will be sorely missed. Hato Opani was the best place to be whilst Tosh was in residence. The years spent teaching with him were my fondest. He made my day everyday, his cheeky grin, his words of wisdom and the mana that he built in us all as we worked in Te Tikanga Rua Reo. He will be missed. Arohanui
