So very sad to hear of Williams passing, I have raced with William over many years, he always had a welcoming smile and good for healthy banter, both he and his beautiful Mk2 Jaguar will be sorely missed at our race meetings. Condolences to friends and family, RIP William RIP

It was a shock to hear of the passing of William who was a dear friend and brother in Christ from my teenage years. I will never forget our late night talks and laughs when I stayed over at your place. I will also remember your love of music, great guitar playing, the hours you spent doing up cars, your intelligence and creativity, your dry sense of humour and your strong sense of self confidence. Your mum, dad and siblings were like a second family to me and I grieve with you all - but not without hope 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14. My love , prayers and condolences to Collette and family. So very Sorry to her that William has gone. I've known him for many years through design but more as a friend and for a brief moment as part of our little band Popes Folly.
My condolences to his family

Sincere condolences to the whole family. We remember a cheerful, intelligent (and mischievous!) teenager with good artistic skills. Also the transition from "Billy" to "Bill" ("It's Bill actually!) Good memories, may he rest in peace. With love from Celia & John Kennedy

Dear Colette, Leo and Juliet, we would like to express our sincere condolences and deep sadness at the devastating news of William's passing.
We fondly remember motorbike riding together in our youth, and most recently our lovely visit to you guys last year.

I first met William in 2005 when he launched his company in China with offices in Tianjin - True to his Dutch heritage, he was a brave explorer to embark on such an adventure - As Chief Interior Designer with William at the helm as principal of Noordanus Architects International we weathered many storms together. And believe me there were many .... His optimism never faltered. His leadership was an example of how any great captain steers his ship through troubled and foreign waters , always bringing it home to a safe harbour ! To quote the words of the Walt Whitman's poem used by a student to Robin Williams in the movie DEAD POETS SOCIETY .." O Captain my Captain " I bid farewell to my captain -may your journey to the next world be serene with calm seas

Just a note as a fellow architect. I did not know him well, but found William to be very warm and helpful when we crossed paths on projects he and I were both involved in, and I appreciate his strong design sense whenever I see his buildings around town.
