William Alexander "Bill" McCAW

William McCAW Obituary

Died at Christchurch Hospital on May 6, 2025, aged 97, beloved husband of the late Bunny, much loved father and father-in-law of David, Steph and James, Marie and Paddy, John and Susan, and cherished grandfather of Brooke. Bill was also a devoted uncle and great-uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Deepest appreciation for the dedication, love and commitment of staff at the Ashley Suites, Russley Village and Christchurch Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Vincent de Paul would be appreciated, and may be made online at donate.svdp.org.nz Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Bill McCaw, PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A Vigil will be held at Our Lady of Victories Church, on Monday 12 May at 7.00pm A Requiem Mass for Bill will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Church, 106 Main South Road, Sockburn, on Tuesday 13 May, at 11.30am, followed with interment at Avonhead Memorial Cemetery.
